Data Center and Server Room
A data center is a facility used to house computer systems and related components, such as telecommunications and storage systems. It generally includes redundant or backup power supplies, redundant data communications connections, environmental controls (e.g. air conditioning, fire suppression) and various security devices.
A server room is a dedicated space within an organization that is used to house servers and related equipment. It is typically equipped with the same types of redundancies and security measures as a data center, but on a smaller scale.
